This beautiful vintage figurine is from the RFD America Collection by the famous American artist Lowell Davis. It depicts a farmer tricking his mule, Molly, into putting on her bridle. The piece stands 6 inches tall (with the wooden base), 6.25 inches wide (base), and 9 inches long base. Made from cold cast porcelain, this limited edition figurine (# 345/1250) was beautifully hand-painted in the United Kingdom (Scotland) in 1989 by Border Fine Arts. The figurine comes in a new box and includes a colorful new story card. It is a retired piece and is in excellent condition.
