This Border Fine Arts figurine titled’The Understudy’ features two large Border Collies crafted in resin. Part of a limited edition released in 1994, the multicoloured figurine showcases the artistry and detail characteristic of Border Fine Arts collections. Made in Scotland, this is number 256/1500. In excellent condition but as is quite often seen, there is some discolouration to the wooden base when the figurine is removed. In addition, the nose of the adult collie looks as though it’s chipped but it’s not, I think it’s a path that hasn’t had any paint in production as it feels smooth, so could possibly do with a touch up if preferred.
